I recently had the opportunity to work with Mobile Exposures on a wedding. It may have been the first wedding we had together but they are no stranger to All About You Productions. I have networked with Emily, hung out at social gatherings with her, and she was also a part of  Before You "I Do". Everyone is a complete joy to work with and their business is organized and dependable.

Mobile Exposures is a traveling photo booth. Their booths are nice and easy to use. They set up the booth, have fun attendants to run it, and then take it down after the event. They also provide all of the fun, necessary props :) Check out my photo booth with Kate at Leslie and Erin's wedding.
Each photo strip had the couple's custom made logo at the top and a message at the bottom. Each person in the booth got a photo strip and an additional was printed and put in a book for the bride and groom that they got to take home that night!

If you are looking for something fun for your wedding or other event contact Emily at Mobile Exposures. They are on our Fave Vendors list!

I am so sad to say that Kate is leaving tomorrow :( She will be heading back to Germany. Kate has been the greatest intern anyone could ask for. She is so creative, helpful, very funny, and so sweet. More than anything she has become a great friend. We had such a great time together. I will truly miss her.

I am very excited that she will be starting her own wedding planning business in Germany! I cannot wait to hear how everything goes. I know it will be challenging since the market for wedding planners is not as big as it is here in the US. I am confident that she will do great. She has the ideas and motivation to make it happen. I wish her the best of luck!

I can't believe it's already been six months and now we're already preparing on going back to Germany and this probably is going to be my last blog posting here.

I have been thinking what to write about and I figured why not writing about ideas on a wedding that has one of my favorite novels as a theme. The story in The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett is quite a sad and melancholic one but leads to a wonderful ending. Whoever gets the chance to see the movie should definitely do that, it's a wonderful one and gives you so many inspirations (I've seen this movie 5 times already:)

Feel free to be inspired by pale colors, wildflowers, lace, keys to secret gardens and a lot of vintage items...

There are so many ideas to be found for kids' birthday parties that I thought I might share one of my favorite ideas for a grown-up birthday party (or any other kind of party:) with you today. It's a Morocco-inspired outside party which can easily be held inside too. Think of all the colors you can use...orange, red, purple, turquoise, blue, ruby, brown and gold. It's like an explosion of colors, everyone will love it.

Add a couple of Moroccan lanterns here and there and make sure to offer your guests some tea in these beautiful tea glasses.

Oriental rugs and tons of pillows and cushions will make every guest feel really comfy and the picture perfect.

I also added some really cool Moroccan recipe ideas, check them out below.

Favorite recipe ideas and pictures: found on food.com and moroccanfood.about.com

Harcha: Moroccan pan-fried bread made from semolina flour with a cornbread texture and taste. Served best warm with jam, chesse or syryp made from melted butter and honey.
Serrouda: Moroccan chickpea puree. Like hummus with onion, saffron, salt &pepper drizzled with olive oil.

Cranberry couscous salad: very tasty, fresh and oriental. Made from couscous, dried cranberries, cinnamon, cumin, rice vinegar, almonds, green onion and fresh mint.
And for dessert some Pomegranate seeds Moroccan style: just season the seeds with sugar, cinnamon and orange flower water. I like!

Every little one loves Elmo! You really can't go wrong with a Sesame Street birthday party for a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd birthday for a boy or girl.

Since mint is a big color this year, why not incorporate it into a baby shower. It works both for boys and girls. A few ribbons here and there give the minty color a girly look.

For the candy station, chocolate is exactly the right thing!

I'm so happy that I found these pictures on stylemepretty.com! Look at the gorgeous combination of pastel colors, lace and music sheets. It looks all girly in a non-tacky way. And I just love the simplicity of the whole design like the colored milk cans used as vases and light blue bottles. Still you can see love in every little detail.

Tip for music sheet decor: check out flea markets or garage sales, there's always music to be found there and you don't have to spend a fortune. You can use it in the background as a wallpaper for the candy station or you can glue it onto glass bottles and glass cans alternatively. White, pale pink, and peach flowers are perfect for center pieces.

It seems that everyone around me is having babies right now. It's definitely giving me the baby itch! I thought I would share some adorable baby announcements. They are not the traditional photo cards.

This first one is my fave. The letterpress, calligraphy, kraft envelope, and cute little sack...... oh my!

Not the traditional color palette for baby and usually the parents are not included too, I like it!

Check out these beautiful ideas to trash your dress. We took our wedding outfits to a  photo shoot at a local farm, but since the dress still looks pretty good, I am thinking about having a photo shooting in a lake for our 5 year wedding anniversary...
