I love the children's book, Where the Wild Things Are. I think it would be such a fun theme for a birthday party. Check out some inspiration I found.

Remember my first intern, Kate? You may remember my blog about her moving back to Germany and starting her very own wedding and event planning company. Check out her website and her blog here. Be sure to like LovEvents on facebook.  I couldn't be more happy for her!

Check out this baby shower she planned. I love the woodland theme. The dessert table looks amazing! So many adorable touches. Great job Kate!

I asked my 4 year old, Cooper what kind of party he would like for his 5th birthday. He said he wants a Lego party. Of course I started on Pinterest for some inspiration. Click here to follow my boards on Pinterest.

Sawyer turned 2! We celebrated with a southern cowboy party! I used brown and red for the colors. Click here to see the full gallery.
On the menu was southern pulled pork, hot dogs, baked beans, and potato chips.
Each little guest got a cowboy hat and a sheriff badge with their name on it.
Daddy putting on the birthday boy's cowboy boots.
Real cowboys shooting a balloon with squirt guns.
Everyone had fun at the photo booth.

I just got back from taking the kiddos to the splash pad and I am HOT! I am trying to think of something to blog about. A Nautical party would be perfect right now...... Lots of boats, anchors, red, blue, and water. A Nautical party would work for a birthday party, baby shower, or beach party. Don't forget the sailor hats for all of your guests!

Don't forget the birthday hats when planning your little ones next birthday party! There are so many different styles. You could get hats for everyone that go with the theme such as cowboy hats for a western party, pirate hats for a pirate party or crowns for a princess party. Here are some traditional hats that I came across......

I think this one has to be my favorite!

If you do not put the age on the hat, you can reuse it for many years to come.

Little Miss Hailey turned one and we celebrated her birthday this weekend! (I apologize in advance for the photography, I am not a professional by any means. )

Cute tulips lined the path to the party.....
Adorable hand made treat bags for the little ones, made by Mommy!
Look at the adorable carrot streamers that lined the whole inside of the tent!
It wouldn't be a bunny party if everybunny didn't have bunny ears!
Could she be any cuter???
A Pinterest inspired project...... dip strawberries in orange white chocolate to look like carrots.
I think she enjoyed her bunny smash cake.
A cute way to label all of the coolers.
